ACTS 17:28..In Him we live and move and have our being.....
WORSHIP ROOM
What worship means to us Emmanuel......

We were made to worship, it is in our nature to worship something or someone, if we don’t worship God we will without a shadow of a doubt be worshiping something or somebody, maybe ourselves, our child, husband, wife, mother, career, a sport, money, celebrities, etc.
The effects of praise on the believer
Praise changes your focus from your problem to the majesty of God - It brings you hope. The book of Ephesians was written by Paul from prison, Paul was cast into prison unjustly for years, bitten, stoned, starved, ship-wrecked, and facing possible execution and yet the words joy and rejoice were mentioned more often in all of Paul’s writings. Our problems do not compare to Paul’s - we have no excuse not to praise the Lord.

"I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Psalm 34:1
"Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice." Philippians 4:4
The effects of praise on the devil
Praise is a weapon against the enemy

"But thou art holy, O thou that inhabits the praises of Israel.
When we praise God there is a manifest presence of God that drives the devil away." Psalm 22:3

In Matthew Jesus quotes a passage from the Psalms
"And said unto him, Do you hear what these are saying? And Jesus said unto them, Yes; have you never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings you have perfected praise?" Matthew 21:16

"Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants, You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger." Psalm 8:2

Jesus was putting these two verses together to give us an overview of what He meant. Jesus change ordained strength (Psalms 8:2) ‘to perfected praise’ (Mathew 21:16). He was not misquoting, he was in fact teaching that praise is strength to silence the enemy and the avenger.

If you are under attack from the devil- Try praising God.

The effects of praise on God
God is love and everyone that loves wants to be loved back. God desires our love.
The lord inhabits the praises of his people, he rejoices over us, so when we pray and worship we kiss the heart of God, we bless him beyond our understanding.
So come and join us in praising the king of kings and Lord of Lords
to whom every knee will bow and every tongues confess - THAT HE IS LORD
"Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice." Philippians 4:4

So lets sing unto the Lord, all the earth; show forth from day to day his salvation. Amen
